Over the past nine years, I’ve built a multidisciplinary career that spans design, marketing, and print. Each role sharpened not just my technical capabilities, but also my ability to adapt and work well across teams.
I began at Regional Press with zero background in print. Eventually, I took the lead on their marketing efforts and developing the brand visibility. At MuscleMath, I held dual roles as Centre Administrator and Design & Marketing Lead. This helped refine my visual design work, planning marketing concepts, and at the same time, my ability to manage operations and lead a team effectively.
At Straits Ink, a large-format printing company, I’ve further developed my expertise in print production, learning to balance creativity with a solid grasp of technical needs. This role strengthened my growing understanding of moving simple ideas towards their final output.
At Stovve, I supported the team’s visual communication needs, contributing to brand assets and product development.
Currently, I work with renowned contemporary artist Kumari Nahappan at Studio K, leading the creation of proposal decks, writing concept-driven content, designing mockups, and managing her website to ensure it aligns with her evolving body of work. I also liaise directly with external partners like local and international galleries and community green spaces in Singapore, to support her various collaborations. Some recent projects include Happy Together with Whitestone Gallery in Singapore, Singa60 with Forum Art Gallery in Chennai, Kumari’s first solo show in India in partnership with Pristine Gallery and currently one in ARTSG in partnership with Yang Gallery.
Alongside my full-time roles, I’ve taken on commissioned freelance projects for various clients, producing visual collaterals such as banners, infographics, yearbooks, and other print and digital assets. These projects allowed me to work independently across different briefs and timelines, further sharpening my ability to adapt quickly, and deliver thoughtful designs beyond a single organisational context.
I thrive on learning and collaboration. Whether exploring new skills or helping a team shine by focusing on their strengths, I believe that amazing things happen with good teamwork and clear communication.
I'm currently looking for a lead creative role in a company that values collaboration and invests in the growth of its people. I'd love to chat more about what I can bring to the table…let's grab a coffee (or tea)!
